## For Home Educated Learners, EOTAS & EBSA (Age 5-10) and (Age 11-16)

Join Hill Vale Animals for a series of engaging monthly animal assisted theraputic sessions designed specifically for children aged 5-10 and young people aged 11-16.

Hosted in the beautiful woodland surroundings of [**The Hamlet, Wigan**](http://www.thehamletwigancic.co.uk),, these small-group sessions provide an opportunity to learn about animals, welfare, handling and responsible animal care in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Whether your young person has a keen interest in animals, is considering a future career working with animals, or simply enjoys learning outside of a traditional classroom setting, these sessions are designed to inspire curiosity and build confidence.

## Who Can Attend?

- Home educated children and young people
- EOTAS learners
- Young people experiencing EBSA
- Seperate sessions for Children aged 5 -10 and Young people aged 11 - 16 years

#### 2026 Session Dates Age 5 - 10

- 7th September  -   09:30am - 10:30am SOLD OUT
- 5th October        -   09:30am - 10:30am
- 2nd November  -   09:30am - 10:30am
- 7th December   -   09:30am - 10:30am

#### 2026 Session Dates Age 11 - 16

- 7th September  -   11:00am - 12:00noon SOLD OUT
- 5th October        -   11:00am - 12:00noon  SOLD OUT
- 2nd November  -   11:00am - 12:00noon  SOLD OUT
- 7th December   -   11:00am - 12:00noon

## What We'll Explore

Each session lasts approximately 1 hour and will focus on a range of animal - related topics, including:-:

- Animal Behaviour
- Animal care and welfare
- Habitats 
- Species identification
- Ask questions and engage in discussion
- Learn in a relaxed, supportive environment

Sessions are delivered in the classroom facilities at [**The Hamlet, Wigan**](http://www.thehamletwigancic.co.uk), a welcoming community venue dedicated to providing inclusive learning opportunities.

Animals will vary from month to month, allowing attendees to build their knowledge and confidence over time.

## Cost

**£15 per child, per session**

 

**Please be aware these sessions are very popular and sell out fast - we are unable to offer refunds for places booked and not attended.**

 

## Parent/Carer Attendance

One parent or carer must accompany their child

-  1 parent/carer may attend free of charge per household
-  Parents/carers remain responsible for their child throughout the session

Sessions are held at [**The Hamlet, Wigan**](http://www.thehamletwigancic.co.uk), a welcoming woodland learning facility situated within the beautiful Three Sisters Recreation Area in Wigan.

The venue provides:
