After enjoying a rather damp summer holidays, the sun was shining today and all the animals from Hill Vale were very excited to be going back to school....well if we are going to get technical, it was actually back to college...we went to spend a few hours helping all the new students settle in at Winstanley college.
We were delighted to be invited to help the students settle in, and we just know they are going to love meeting all of us, it's really a great honour to meet them and we hope that they will enjoy the experience. We are going to provide a relaxing and calm encounter, and also something a little bit unexpected for them to experience, which is always a good way to help break the ice and support anxiety relief during such a stressful time. The students particularly enjoy meeting some of our more interesting animals that perhaps they haven't encountered before, like Flump our leopard spotted gecko and of course our very friendly and quite speedy tortoises....Did you know the correct way to hold a tortoise is like a cheeseburger?
We will have lots of pics to share soon, but for now here's a a link to Winstanley College's newsletter where we got a lovely shout out, for our last visit. (we are on page 2). If you would like to book a visit to your school or college, please get in touch. I would be delighted to give you more information :) jo@hillvaleanimals.com
